Maggie Kigozi has been selected as the Patron for the Plus Size Fashion Week Festival (PSFWFestival) Kampala, a campaign created to empower, educate and encourage plus-size women in Uganda and beyond to be body-confident and feel good about themselves and know that clothes on the catwalk don’t just look good on smaller people only, plus-size women can also be models and look good in the clothes showcased on the catwalks.

The Plus-size Fashion Week Festival Kampala which is a subsidiary of ‘The Figure Bombshell’: a movement and revolution by UK best Designer Doreen Faith.

“I first had an encounter with Dr in 2012, I met her at a film festival at Sheraton hotel, and I’ve been in kept in touch with her since then. She’s very supportive of women, not forgetting to mention that she’s a patron to many businesses in Uganda whether male or female led. So it was only natural for me to approach a woman I admire to be the festival’s patron”, Doreen Faith, CEO #PSFWFestival

The Plus-size Fashion Week Festival Kampala will take place on the 6th December, 2019 at Skyz Hotel, Naguru.
